Spanish authorities arrested five young computer hackers blamed for attacks on government agencies in the United States and elsewhere, officials said.
The "D.O.M. Team 2008" group consisted of hackers living in various cities in Spain from which they wage online assaults on government Web sites on several continents, El Pais newspaper reported online Saturday.
The group's members are said to have gained entry into more than 20,000 Web sites.
Two of the arrested hackers are minors. All are under the age of 20.
