On 14 December 1992, at dawn, from the neighbouring villages of Pirici and Poloznik, Muslim forces laid a siege to and attack the Serb village of Bjelovac and committed the most atrocious crime against Serbs in Bosnia during the last war.
In the attack, the whole village of Bjelovac was destroyed and 350 houses and other buildings were levelled to the ground or set on fire.
No one has answered yet for that massacre, nor for any other crimes committed against 1,500 Serbs in Bratunac and Srebrenica municipalities in the war in Bosnia in 1992 and 1993.
On July 3, 2008, the Hague Tribunal acquitted Naser Oric, with an explanation that his command responsibility for the committed crimes had not been proved.
